This one actually came to me while I was waiting to be seated at The Waterway Cafe for lunch today. A man of a certain age strolled up to the hostess to be seated and he was rocking a sport shirt with a polo underneath. Clearly this guy didn't care what he was wearing, he seemed to be at that level of income.
Since I'm assuming most you are not of that type of wealth, do not try and pull this look off! This is the 21st Century, not the 80's or 90's, and this is not a fraternity gathering. The only type of collar on collar action that is allowable these days if your shirt/polo collar against the lapel collar on your suit jacket/sport coat.

The
Mid-Century style is making a comeback, yes, and most style trends tend to come back around every so often, but I highly encourage you to leave this trend in its fashion grave for your sake and the sake of all mankind. With that said, there is nothing wrong with an undershirt as part of your look to add some casualness to any outfit, just make sure to omit the collar.
