Monday Outlook: Manpris

Warning to all frat stars, chubbies enthusiasts, Nantucket prepsters, and southern gentlemen alike. There is a movement in the works this spring that will scare you back into your favorite pair of seersucker shorts until the wave passes. But not to worry, if you are that closed off anyways, you probably have no clue that its even happening.

Bermuda shorts were heavily featured during Fashion Week: London by a variety of high end designers such as Alexander McQueen and Fendi. I also bunch capri pants in with bermudas, they're essentially the skinny version anyways. This movement has been a long time coming seeing as the States are always behind Europe in the fashion department. National clothiers such as J. Crew and Banana Republic have made concerted efforts to make longer shorting options, but not the level that is going to be "trending" this spring.
Well done on the new album. Great stuff!
Popular spottings are as recent as last night at The Oscars with Pharrell Williams's capri'd out tuxedo. Esquire promptly notified its readers that if the other 99% of the male population were to try the look, it would crash and burn. Other appearances were brought to you by none other than style crock pot Russell Westbrook of the OKC Thunder, his outfit was a little more casual than Pharrell's though.
Injured reserve style? Why not.
Go find a pair in a high wear color that will go with everything and see how you feel about them. If you like how they feel, buy them, and if not, let this trend pass and return to the shorts you already have.

Check in tomorrow for some exciting new tech and next Monday for more upcoming fashion trends!
